Leading effective meetings

There are a number of factors that make for effective meetings ranging from knowing the basics of parliamentary procedure to keeping accurate records. As Chair you are expected to be comfortable:

  • Calling a meeting
  • Using rules of order
  • Handling motions
  • Going in camera
  • Keeping records
